When should please be used?

Please is used to make polite requests, when you want to ask for something or you want to ask someone to do something.

Is it grammatically correct to say may you please?

The phrase “May you please” is incorrect because you cannot use the word “may” with the second-person pronoun “you” when making a request.

Please is a word used in the English language to indicate politeness and respect while making a request.
