Where do Bilva trees grow?

The most preferred direction in which it is ideally needs to be planted is the Northeast direction as the Northeast direction is called “Ishanya” which means the place for Lord Shiva. Bilva is one of the most favorable offering to Lord Shiva and hence the Northeast is the indisputable direction.

Can we grow Bilva tree at home?

You can certainly plant a Bel or Rudraksha tree near your house. To be specific you need to ideally plant them in the Northeast corner of the plot on an auspicious muhurat.

What is the bilva Patra of Lord Shiva?

Bel Patra is one of the favorites of Lord Shiva, which is said to please Him. The primary Bilva Patra used in the worship of Shiva Lingam especially in a trifoliate (three Biva Patra leaves on a stalk) form, which symbolizes Trikaal or the Trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh and also the Trinetra which means the three eyes of Lord Shiva.
