From 1978 to 1989, most of the richest people lived in 3 areas of greater Albuquerque. Rio Rancho was where many of them lived. Then next area would be the eastern side of Albuquerque up the mountain slopes to the building limits imposed and lastly Tijeras Canyon. I moved away in 1989 so currently I don’t know where the richest folks live.
