First of all, both Railways and CPWD are the two best departments for a Civil Engineer….Job Location:

  • The postings are usually in metropolitan cities like Delhi.
  • One can stay in Delhi and continue with their service.
  • Particularly in Delhi also because Delhi PWD lies in CPWD.

Which post we get after clearing IES exam?

Those who cleared the Indian engineering exams will work as an Assistant only in the initial stages. After having experience in the field they can be promoted as Secretary to Government of India.
