Both providers work differently, Kaplan are tailored more around bite size videos on topics, whereas BPP have full lengthy lectures.

What order should I study CIMA operational level?

For example, CIMA would recommend students studying the Operational Level to start with E1, then move to P1 and then to F1 before sitting the Operational Case Study examination.

Is CIMA operational level hard?

CIMA is not difficult, like other courses, it’s a challenging one. You can get through the certificate level with ease, but after that you need sheer practise and commitment towards it. The most challenging part is to get through the case studies.

How difficult is CIMA operational level?

As a tutor I know that the CIMA course material is difficult. Particularly if you have limited previous accounting experience, work full-time and are striving to complete all the exams in 3 years. To pass CIMA, you have to prioritise it. If you don’t show that commitment, then CIMA is very difficult to pass.

How long is CIMA operational level?

How long does CIMA operational level take?

CIMA Operational teaches you about organisational management, costs and analysis used in production, and financial reporting and taxation. You also take a Case Study, which tests your overall knowledge of the level. You’ll take around 12 months to complete the level.

What is the difference between Kaplan and BPP?

Kaplan contains all of the theory explained in a very simple yet informative way. It also has questions in between and at the end of each lesson to test your understanding of the subject matter. However these questions only covers the basics and to get a more deeper grasp of what you have learnt you should try out the questions in BPP.

How do I complete the Cima operational level?

The CIMA Operational level requires you to complete three Objective Test exams subjects and a Case Study exam. You can only attempt the Case Study exam, which tests your knowledge of the level, once you have passed all three Objective Test exams.

Practical examples are often very lenghty and more complicated then in Kaplan. Kaplan books are written in a bit simplier language, many heavy theoretical bits are ommitted.
