Which is correct with in or within?

Use “in” to show something definite, to substitute into and for inclusion. Use “within” for an estimate or to show something inside boundaries.

How do you use in in a sentence?

With means ‘in the same place as someone or something’ or ‘accompanying’: She arrived with her boyfriend. I don’t like tea with milk. There was a free phone with the car.

How do you use with?

You can use ‘with’ when you’re talking about people, or things being together. So if you’re with someone, then you’re probably in the same place as them. I was with Jane yesterday when the accident happened. This means I was physically in the same place as Jane yesterday while the accident was happening.

Within and without should not be written with a space between with/in or with/out, according to all major dictionaries. This is a good lesson for us all (myself included) to be sure in the future to remember that these words are always written as one word (i.e. within), not two separate words (with in).
