MSIT has a very active student community for IEEE and coding enthusiasts. MAIT too is rising up the ranks and thereby both the institutes provide an opportunity to hone skills. Students with above average coding/technical knowledge usually get placed very easily in both the colleges.

MAIT would give you an edge in terms of placement . Keep this in mind- if you have 2 hours of free time (no class for 2 hours) in MAIT you can’t go home you will have to be in college only.. So, it totally depends on you if you are ready to do travelling for an edge in placement then go for MAIT or else MSIT.
