Would you choose the RAF or the Army?

I choose the RAF for the air side and the technical engineering applications of the job. The Navy have their Fleet Air Arm doing similar things to the RAF and the army has the Army Air Corps. Soldiering can be done through all services be it the RAF Regiment, Royal Marines or any army unit.

Why isn’t the British Army known as the Royal Army?

Why? The reason why the British Army isn’t known as “The Royal Army” is because of how it is composed. Unlike the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force, the British Army consists of several clearly identifiable bodies, each of which has an individual and continuous existence and is separately recorded in the Corps Warrant.

The Royal Air Force the uniform is smarter and the personnel to match. Growing up I always wanted to be a pilot. Spending my time volunteering with my local cadet unit I got to experience a little of the RAF lifestyle on camps and I really enjoyed it.
