Is BMT Air Force hard?
Air Force BMT is designed to be fairly intense and stressful, but it’s generally nowhere near as physical as other branches’ training is. It does tend to be more mental in nature. I would tell you that it’s roughly on par with most State Police training that prospective troopers go through.

Each training squadron at BMT is basically a building with multiple dormitories inside it and a cafeteria and MTI offices in the bottom. This will be your home for the next eight weeks and you’ll only leave it to go to various appointments around the base.
What do you think about AF BMT?
Sweat, dirt, and sand is messy enough. AF BMT, in my opinion, is mostly a mental game. Their method is to break you (or at least try to), so that they can build you up again into a better version of yourself.
How to prepare for a BMT interview?
Any MTI can quiz you at anytime at the drop of a dime, so know your stuff. Memorize ranks, the Core Values, and the Airman’s Creed before BMT to give yourself a head-start. Be sure to keep your hygiene and personal appearance up. Bring/purchase whatever products you’ll need to keep your hair in order.
What should I bring to BMT?
For body hair, get waxed before BMT (which should last for 4-6 weeks) or bring shaving stuff (but it’s not guaranteed you’ll have time to shave in the earlier weeks). Makeup is a NO NO in BMT! You can bring makeup in your luggage, but you won’t be wearing it until after graduation.
