Which phones still use micro SIM?

SIM cards come in three different sizes: Standard. Micro. Nano….Samsung.

Do micro SIM work in all phones?

All phones need SIM cards, but they don’t all need SIM cards of the same size. In fact, there are three different sizes in use, namely Standard, Micro and Nano. Plus, you’ll find some advice for what to do if you end up with a SIM card that’s the wrong size for your phone.

What is the difference between a mini SIM and a Micro SIM?

The 2FF ‘mini-SIM’ is distinctly smaller in size than the Full-size SIM with dimensions of 25.00 mm × 15.00 mm × 0.76 mm. The Micro-SIM has the same contact area as the Mini-SIM (and therefore Full-size SIM) and is the same thickness as both of it’s predecessors.

What size SIM does my phone take?

A standard SIM measures 25 x 15mm and was used in phones before 2010 and a few after then. The Micro SIM stands at 15 x 12 mm and was used in phones from 2010 and you’ll still find some phones work with these now. The Nano SIM, introduced in 2012, measures in at 12.3x 8.8mm and is the most commonly used SIM in phones.
