Good Company & Good Work Culture I went onsite also for 1.5 years in between. Job security & work/life balance is very good. But the yearly increment or increment because of promotion is very very less. So, you can join TCS when you have a good joining package.

If you have written offer from TCS regarding onsite for atleast a year and the new company is another service based company just like TCS, then go for the onsite oppurtunity. (Cause you can later switch company with better hike after you come back from onsite)

Can I join TCS after 1 year and get 65\% hike?

If you have official written offer letter and visa is approved you can opt for the onsite opportunity. If your manager is giving verbal promises don’t give a second thought, join the company which is giving 65 percent hike. Can I leave TCS after 1 year and try for other better companies? Sure you can but I would suggest don’t go in a haste.

Is TCS a good company to work for?

Absolutely NOT !!!! TCS is one of the best employer to work with. Their employee friendly policies, their facilities and job security obviously.
