Who can join senior Scouting?
From 13 years old to 19 years old or High School Level can join the Senior Scouting Program.
Is Baloo training required?
The BSA requires that you have at least one BALOO-trained adult on every Cub Scout den or pack overnight outdoor event. That include pack camping and Webelos den overnighters. A BALOO-trained leader should be at any overnighter regardless of whether it is a pack, district or council event.

Based on the results of the annual review, each BSA camp—regardless of type—will receive an individualized accreditation decision. Accreditation is the mark that the camp program provides a fun, high-quality, and safe program consistent with what the public expects of Scouting.
How many campouts does a 2nd Class Boy Scout need?
In 2016, alongside the release of the 13th edition of the Boy Scout Handbook , the BSA increased the number of campouts required for Second Class to three since joining from two. It increased the number of campouts required for First Class to six since joining from three.
