Scully and Doggett searched for Mulder for almost half of the season and eventually discovered his body. A few months later Scully was able to bring him back to life.

Should ‘The X-Files’ have been resurrected?

In hindsight, many fans would argue that The X-Files never should’ve been resurrected. When the revival was first announced, lots of excitement and joy abounded, but unfortunately, the final product often left much to be desired.
