Why are INFPs so difficult?

1. It’s hard to find people who are emotionally open, available, and willing to dive deep. INFPs are generally very understanding and empathetic to others, even people they do not understand (no matter how hard they try). However, they do not usually make deep connections with shallow or gossipy people.

How is a mature INFP?

For mature INFPs, they are compassionate toward other people’s flaws because they have meditated on their own darkness. They have known the dependence of light upon the shadow. They have suffered as others have suffered. They care for others because they are interconnected to who they are, because they are them.

Some INFP Weaknesses: Like all types, they are at risk of having a warped perception of their other 5 functions (Yes, we DO use all 8 cognitive functions). Because Introverted Thinking is the INFP’s 8th function, they can risk seeing it as overly impersonal, detached, cold, and formulaic.

Are INFPs complacent?

INFPs are not complacent people when it comes to sex, and often enjoy being able to experience new things with someone they trust. INFPs do care about being intimate with someone when it comes to sex, and rarely do they find themselves pleased when they don’t feel that.

What is INFPs love language?

INFPs show a strong preference for quality time as a love language, followed by words of affirmation and physical touch. Though they experience extremely strong emotions internally, INFPs prefer to show their love by spending time with those they care about and engaging in the activities that they enjoy alongside them.

Is Infp immature?

INFPs who are especially unhealthy or immature can function with a warped introverted feeling process. They can be overly-sensitive, quick to take offense, and insistent that only their views and values are valid.

Which personality type is more mature?

I think that Ni-domninants, INFJs and INTJs are the most likely to mature quickly and develop their cognitive functions much faster than most personality types. Both of the personality types are wise, intelligent, and pensive about the motives people or technical systems.

What are INFPs like as children?

INFPs are extremely imaginative and idealistic. As children, they often make up fantasy stories in their heads and enjoy daydreaming about the future and all its possibilities. While other children might want constant stimulation, young INFPs can be entertained with their lush, visionary ideas.

Do INFPs like to go back to school?

No matter their age, INFPs will go back to school to learn new skills, join clubs that offer different insights, and attend lectures on anything at all. INFPs don’t typically learn new things just for the sake of learning; they learn to somehow make the world a better place.

What does it mean to be an INFP personality?

The INFP personality needs to learn to give themselves permission to care for themselves and say “no” to those who overstep their boundaries or send them on an unjustified guilt trip. Many INFPs must learn to recognize that prioritizing themselves means that they are better able to help others, too. #3.

Do INFPs need constant stimulation?

While other children might want constant stimulation, young INFPs can be entertained with their lush, visionary ideas. Unfortunately, some INFP children are dissuaded in their imagination and this can lead to devastating results.
