Why did Boo Radley never come out?

Boo doesn’t come out because he doesn’t want to come out. His life experience tells him that the world is a scary, hard place. He was also shut inside by his father after a violent incident. His father is now dead, but his older brother is still domineering.

Why does Boo Radley stay inside?

Before he went inside the house, he stopped in front of Boo Radley. “Thank you for my children, Arthur,” he said.” “Scout, I think I’m beginning to understand something. “think I’m beginning to understand why Boo Radley’s stayed shut up in the house all this time . . . it’s because he wants to stay inside.”

Boo Radley is an albino. When Scout finally meets him in person, he is described as being ghost-like, with very pale hair and skin. Scout, not knowing what albino is, would just assume this is because he stays inside all the time, rather than Radley being born like that.

Surprisingly, Boo’s autism is his strength by the end of the novel, not only because he is highly-intelligent and hyperaware but because he impulsively saves Scout and Jem.

Tom Robinson and Boo Radley have much in common. Tom Robinson is persecuted because he’s black and Boo is persecuted by his parents for some long ago infraction. They are both at risk in the justice system of Maycomb. They are both “mockingbirds”.

Throughout the novel many would argue that Tom Robinson stands for the mockingbird throughout the story, but Boo Radley remains the true mockingbird because he helps Jem and Scout and later save their lives.

What happened to Boo Radley in the end?

The novel ends after Bob Ewell attacks Scout and Jem, and Boo Radley rescues them, killing Bob in the process. Heck, however, realizes that Boo killed Bob Ewell, and wants to cover up the truth to protect Boo.
