Why do members leave the church?

Sometimes faithful members leave the church rather suddenly without any signs. However, sometimes members take a long time before they leave because they want to make the best decision according to God’s plan for their lives. Their leaving is gradual because they want to make sure they are doing the right thing.

Why are pastors leaving the ministry?

They may be hearing from the Spirit of the Lord, knowing that things need to change, and speaking out about it, but are frustrated because their voice is not being heard. People are leaving all churches, not just the Assemblies of God. The reason is because this church age is coming to a close.

I was saved almost 13 years to the day in an Assemblies of God church. A not so reformed and non-practicing Catholic who believed in a God without realizing I was my own God. It was a good church. A Gospel preaching church. A God-fearing church. Pentecostal and charismatic without many of the abuses that often come with it. We had a great pastor.
