Why do some texts say delivered and some dont?

Delivered means that your message successfully reached the recipients mobile device. Sent means the message left your phone and was handed off to your carriers SMS transport network. when your text message does not say delivered it means that the text itself was sent but it did not reach the other persons phone yet.

Why do some of my text messages just have a time and don’t say read or delivered?

The most probable cause is that either their phone is off due to some reason, or they don’t have access to an active internet connection. If their phone is on DND, iMessage will still say ‘Delivered’. Another instance where iMessage doesn’t say ‘Delivered’ is when the sender has blocked you.

Why do some messages say delivered?

Delivered means that at least one of the recipient’s iCloud registered devices has been sent your message, and, that apple has not detected any problem with the message getting to the device. all that means however, is that your message has in fact likely reached the device.

Will messages say delivered if blocked?

If you suspect you have indeed been blocked, first try to send a courteous text of some kind. If you get the “Delivered” notification underneath it, you weren’t blocked. If you get a notification like “Message Not Delivered” or you get no notification at all, that’s a sign of a potential block.
