Why do we still have original sin?

When God created mankind, He created us with Original Justice. Adam and Eve, through their sin, lost original justice, and thus did not have it to pass on to succeeding generations. Thus we are all conceived with this “lack”, we are all conceived in Original Sin.

What cleanses us from original sin?

When we say that Baptism “cleanses us” of original sin, we mean that Baptism “restores” our access to holiness and justice. But, original sin also has consequences. The consequence of original sin is that “human nature is wounded in its natural powers”.

Does repentance mean you never sin again?
