Why is Ducati overpriced?

The premium pricing is because Ducati has used light-weight engine components, a carbon fibre frame; and even the top-spec underpinnings get weight-reducing bits. However, the motorcycle weighs 10kg more than the HP4 Race (dry), at 156kg.

What’s so special about Ducati?

Despite this, Ducati Monsters can last long with proper maintenance and care. From the owners’ reports, you can get 40,000 to 80,000 miles on a Monster before it breaks down. Some owners have even reported crossing the 100,000-mile mark on their Monster bikes.
