TL;DR if your AIO pump is making a loud buzzing noise, it’s possibly due to an air bubble lodged inside the pump head. Tilt your case back and forth (on a stable surface that won’t slip, I did it on carpet) vigorously a few times and see if the noise stops.

Where should I mount my AIO fan?

Put it where it looks best for you. The 011 is so large with so many fans that placement doesnt matter. I’ve mounted Aios at the top so the hot air that rises is also extracted rapidly. It makes the top of the case a bit toasty since the CPU upgrades, but temps are good and stable on both gpu and cpu.

Should AIO be on the side or top?

Not alot discuss aio’s placement, just fans. I saw many videos where it’s on the side and not the top but no answers. I came across a video from bitwit and he did a comparison and having it on the side showed better temps however it was not in this case.
