Why is my debit card not eligible for UPI?

It might be a suspected case of a fraudulent transaction. You might have entered the wrong UPI PIN. The beneficiary details you entered might be incorrect. Your mobile number might be linked to multiple types of accounts in the same bank.

Can ATM card be used for UPI?

You have to get debit card issued once. As you get the debit card, use it for setting the UPI PIN. Once you set the UPI PIN, you can block your debit card.

How do I activate UPI on my new debit card?

Steps to Generate MPIN Online

  1. Once you have downloaded the mobile app, you will be asked to create your mPIN for UPI Payments.

How to add bank account in UPI?

After successful registration with UPI, click on Add Bank Account. Choose your bank from the menu, the bank should be UPI participant. Why am I not able to connect on UPI? Your account may have become Dormant.

How to use UPI to pay using virtual address?

After adding bank account, generate virtual address and set UPI PIN for authenticating transactions. Click on Pay. If you choose to transact using Virtual Address, enter valid virtual address of the beneficiary. The beneficiary must be registered with UPI.
