Why Zerodha is showing wrong average price?

The buy average can be incorrect after corporate actions (For example, bonus, splits, rights issue, de-merger, merger, etc.). The adjustment is manually updated by our team after the corporate action is complete and the company/exchanges have provided all pertinent information for the adjustment.

How can we correct average cost in Zerodha?

Click on the button and select “View discrepancy”. Select the date on which you received that particular security. Enter the price at which you received the security and the quantity and then select the type of discrepancy. Once you do, click on ‘Add’ and the buy average will be queued for recalculation.

What is holdings discrepancies in Zerodha?

This discrepant alert arises when the buy average of a scrip in your holding is unavailable. This happens when, you’ve made an off-market transfer into your Demat account, IPOs and corporate actions like bonus, splits etc.

What happens when I buy the same stock at different prices in Zerodha?

Zerodha offers ZERO brokerage on Equity delivery trades i.e. you buy on one day, but sell any time after the following day. It also offers Rs. 20 / order for all other equity trades – both cash and derivatives.
