Can we sell stocks in upper circuit?

When a stock hits an upper circuit, there will be only buyers and no sellers. So, if someone wants to sell the stock, they can do so. If a stock still hits circuits, then the stock is moved to T-group where only buying or only selling (but not both during the same day) is allowed. No intraday trading is allowed.

What happens when stock reaches upper circuit?

When it hits +20\% it called upper circuit freeze and when it hits -20\% it is called lower circuit freeze. Note : there is no circuit filter for derivative stock. So when a stock hits upper circuit, it means there is strong buying and it cannot move up any further for the day.

Can we buy stocks in pre opening?

yes it is possible to buy in pre market in india. Everyday pre opening market starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 9:15 AM as per Indian time. But you can place order up to 9:07 AM only, after from there settlements of all orders starts. You can place, modify or cancel order before 7 minutes from 9 AM.

Can we buy share at 9 am?

You can place limit orders/market orders. The order collection window can close at any time between 9:07 AM and 9:08 AM. 800, between 3:40 PM and 4:00 PM, you can place market orders to buy/sell Reliance at market price (will be taken at Rs. 800).
