Can you pray during class?

Yes. Contrary to popular myth, the Supreme Court has never outlawed “prayer in schools.” Students are free to pray alone or in groups, as long as such prayers are not disruptive and do not infringe upon the rights of others.

What are some limits on free exercise of religion?

Why is Zuhr prayer not makrooh?

The reason for that is that the time for Zuhr prayer lasts from when the sun passes the meridian until the time for ‘Asr begins, so all of this time is the time for Zuhr prayer, and it is not makrooh to do the prayer at any point within this time.
