Can YouTube block you from uploading videos?

One of the reasons for getting blocked can be uploading content that violates YouTube rules. Nudity or sexual content – YouTube doesn’t allow pornography or similar content, even if you’re uploading the videos of you. Violent or graphic content – You are not allowed to publish violent content that aims to shock.

Why can’t I upload a video to YouTube too long?

By default, YouTube allows video uploads that are up to 15 minutes long. If you try to upload videos longer than 15 minutes, the upload will fail. This is a YouTube limitation rather than a Brightcove limitation. YouTube will then confirm when your YouTube account has been activated for longer uploads.

Why does YouTube say you are currently not allowed to upload to this channel?

In order to prevent abuse, YouTube has non-published limits that will lock you out for a period of time if you’ve been engaging in behavior that could be interpreted as spam (e.g., publishing many videos in a row, writing may comments, etc).

How many copyright claims can you get?

A video can only have one copyright strike at a time. Keep in mind that videos can be removed from the site for reasons other than copyright. Also, Content ID claims don’t result in a strike.
