Although you may take the SAT any time starting freshman year, most students take it for the first time in the spring of their junior year and possibly retake it in the fall of their senior year. Learn exactly how to register for the SAT.

Should I take SAT Subject Tests or AP?

You should take SAT Subject Tests before you start Grade 12 (Class XII). For AP exams, you should take them in May of Class 12. However, in order to lower the study load, you should take the AP exam first (in May of Grade 11), followed soon after by the SAT subject tests (which many claims are much easier).

Which SAT subject test should I take?
