Do you shower alone in basic training?

In basic training, you take group showers. There’s no way out of communal showers. Everyone in your barracks will enter the shower room assigned to your barracks when commanded.

How do soldiers shower?

Some troops have to rough it, rinsing off using bottles of water, showering under bladder systems, or wiping themselves down with baby wipes to keep clean. Others are lucky enough to have showers setup near their berthing areas.

Showers are old fashioned spiggetts in a circular formation. Everyone gets naked (hopefully you’d be ok with seeing 60–70+ naked bodies) and wagon wheels around each spiggett.
