How did Thanos heal from Stormbreaker?

Thanks to a helpful image from the film they managed to share, around where Stormbreaker is stuck in Thanos’ chest you can see the green sparks mentioned, meaning that he used the Time Stone to heal himself. Doctor Strange previously used the Time Stone in his standalone film, demonstrating how it worked on an apple.

How did Thanos survive Thor’s hammer?

The new hammer, forged in a dying star earlier in the film, pierced through Thanos’ best efforts with the Infinity Gauntlet and landed in his chest. The move allowed Thanos to snap his fingers and erase half of the universe, which Thor will fully regret seeing as his aim was intentional.

Why didnt Thor’s AXE kill Thanos?

Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to stop the villain from snapping his fingers and literally wiping out half of the universe’s population in the process.
