You cancel within 48 hours of booking and it meets these conditions:

  1. You have not cancelled three reservations in the last 12 months.
  2. There is no overlapping reservation on your account for the same dates.
  3. The host’s cancellation policy is not super strict.

Because each host determines their own cleaning fee, it is technically negotiable. However, it’s not a good idea to list your cleaning fee as being negotiable on your Airbnb listing. This could invite non-stop debates and bargaining from guests.
