How do you test a magic deck by yourself?

Play actual people is generally the best, but short of that, you can try MTGO or Cockatrice (either against a human opponent or goldfishing by yourself). You can build two decks and play both hands yourself. You can use proxies for the second deck or just use Cockatrice to build virtual decks.

I enjoy tappedout.net. You can upload your deck, generate suggestions and play against yourself using other decks on the site. There’s no playing against other opponent, but I’ve found that it’s a useful site. OCTGN is pretty good. Not as many people as Cockatrice… but there should be because the user interface is way way better.

To edit multiple cards in your deck at once, press the Select: button . When you are done, press Analyze to view the full deck analysis. On the next page you can then save and share your deck or press Open Deckbuilder at the bottom to continue editing.
