What if only one parent is AKC registered?
If only one dog is registered then the litter will not be sanctioned by one of the breed Clubs as a pure bred litter because without the second parent being registered there is no way to prove it’s lineage. Below is a link to AKC’s page outlining their requirements for registering a litter.
