Yes, Arduino is worth learning! Arduino is one of the most widely known microcontroller boards used by students, engineers, and hobbyists to create a multitude of different projects on robotics, home automation, and many others. It’s usual for a person to wonder why Arduino is so popular.

How do I program atmega328p with Arduino Uno?

Burning the Bootloader

  1. Upload the ArduinoISP sketch onto your Arduino board.
  2. Wire up the Arduino board and microcontroller as shown in the diagram to the right.
  3. Select “Arduino Duemilanove or Nano w/ ATmega328” from the Tools > Board menu.
  4. Select “Arduino as ISP” from Tools > Programmer.
  5. Run Tools > Burn Bootloader.
