Is JEE Advanced preparation different from JEE Main?

Courses: JEE Main is conducted for providing admission into BE or B. Tech courses in various NITs & other Institutions all over the country. JEE Advanced is the criteria to get admission in the well-known Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

Is JEE Main easier than JEE Advanced?

JEE Main and JEE Advanced are both national level examinations and also one of the examinations in India. When comparing the both, JEE Advanced is a lot tougher than JEE Main. The standards of the questions takes a serious jump in JEE Advanced exam.

Which class has more weightage in JEE Advanced?

What is the syllabus of the JEE Main?

The JEE Main syllabus consists of three main subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. All the topics and concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Class 11th and 12th are part of the JEE syllabus. Along with the NCERT syllabus books, candidates can also prepare from reference books recommended in IIT JEE study material.

What is the chemistry study material for the JEE Main?

The Chemistry study material includes most weightage chapters and their topics which will prominently be asked in the JEE Main exam. The syllabus of the Chemistry section includes complex topics that are quite difficult to manage with less time for exam preparation.

How many times can I appear for the JEE MAIN exam?

The JEE Main examination is conducted in two sessions and candidates can take the exam either in the month of January or in April. The candidates can further opt to appear for one exam or both exams. The better of two NTA scores will be considered by the exam conducting authority in preparing the ranks/merit list.
