Is there any training after clearing IES exam?

You will have a training program to undergo before induction. On completion of training, you can meet the President of India at his residence where the first citizen of India lauds you on your achievements and encourages you to work with enthusiasm and dedication for the progress of our country.

Are IES officers trained in Lbsnaa?

In this regard, LBSNAA has conveyed that IES officers would be very relevant for the Academy for almost all the courses conducted by them, particularly the FC, Phase I and Phase II, and also for strengthening their trainings on undertaking economic analysis and for designing and formulating development policies.

What is IES officer in railway?

These officers are responsible for the maintenance of all fixed assets of Indian railways, i.e. Track, Bridges, Buildings, Roads, Water supply, land etc. Those fixed assets are 45\% of the total assets of Indian Railways. They are also responsible for the safety and punctuality of Indian Railways.

What is the post of IES officer?

At the starting of their career after selection, they are designated as an Assistant Executive Engineer or Assistant Director. After experience of 3 to 4 years, they are promoted to executive engineer, director or work manager. In completion of 8 years of services, they become deputy general manager or joint director.
