Is there scientific proof that God is not real?

Atheists claim there is scientific proof that God is not real. Theists, on the other hand, insist that science, in fact, has been unable to prove that God does not exist. According to atheists, however, this position depends upon a mistaken understanding of the nature of science and how science operates.

Does the burden of proof lie with theist or atheist?

Some degree of a burden of proof (or just support, in most cases) always lies with the whoever is a claim, not with whoever happens to be hearing the claim and thus who may not initially believe the claim is true. In practice, this means that an initial burden of proof lies with the theist, not with the atheist. Is Theism Irrational?

What questions should an atheist ask a theist?

When a theist claims that a god of some sort exists, one of the first questions atheists should ask is “what do you mean by ‘god’?” After all, without some understanding what the theist means, the atheist cannot even begin to evaluate the claim.

Is Theism a belief in only one God?

Do You Believe in the existence of God?

Your belief in the existence of God has enormous implications on your views of life, humanity, morality, and destiny. In this article, Dr. Craig offers three reasons why life would be meaningless without God and then presents five strong arguments for the existence of God, demonstrating the reasonableness of believing that God exists.

Are my arguments for the existence of God useless if I’m not persuaded?

Even if you aren’t persuaded to believe that God exists, my arguments may not be useless. It is reasonable to believe that the mountains are real and our memories are generally reliable and that other minds exist. It is reasonable to believe these things even though they cannot be proven.
