Is XPeng bigger than NIO?

While NIO is larger than XPeng, growth rates may be bigger for XPeng due to its smaller revenue base. With valuations being about the same for both companies, there is one key difference between these two EV makers.

Who invested in XPeng?

In July 2020, XPeng raised $500 million from a group of investors including Aspex, Coatue, Hillhouse Capital and Sequoia Capital China. In August 2020, XPeng raised an additional $400 million from a group of investors including Alibaba, Qatar Investment Authority and Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund Mubadala.

Is NIO a better buy than XPeng?

Li Auto, which sells Li ONE SUV, reported deliveries of 12,579 for the first quarter, a climb of 334.4\% from last year.
