What is relationship between AM and GM?

AM or Arithmetic Mean is the mean or average of the set of numbers which is computed by adding all the terms in the set of numbers and dividing the sum by total number of terms. GM or Geometric Mean is the mean value or the central term in the set of numbers in geometric progression.

When triangle inequality is an equality?

In the Euclidean case, equality occurs only if the triangle has a 180° angle and two 0° angles, making the three vertices collinear, as shown in the bottom example. Thus, in Euclidean geometry, the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.

Why is the Schwarz inequality important?

The Cauchy-Schwarz inequality also is important because it connects the notion of an inner product with the notion of length. The Cauchy-Schwarz inequality holds for much wider range of settings than just the two- or three-dimensional Euclidean space R2 or R3.

Under what conditions does equality hold in the Schwarz inequality?

Equality holds if and only if x x x and y y y are linearly dependent, that is, one is a scalar multiple of the other (which includes the case when one or both are zero).

Which of the following relation holds true a AM GM B AM GM C GM am d AM ≥ GM?

Class Intervals 30−40 70−80
Frequency 120 185
Cumulative Frequency 120 900

What is relationship between AM GM Hm?

The relation between AM GM HM can be represented by the formula AM × HM = GM2. Here the product of the arithmetic mean(AM) and harmonic mean(HM) is equal to the square of the geometric mean(GM).

How do you solve inequality?

To solve your inequality using the Inequality Calculator, type in your inequality like x+7>9. The inequality solver will then show you the steps to help you learn how to solve it on your own. Less Than Or Equal To Type <= for “less than or equal to”.

What is the value of X if x+y > x-y?

(x-y) = 1 and (x+y) = 10, which means 2x = 11, from which we conclude that x = 11/2, which is not an integer. Therefore since x+y > x-y, the only possibility remaining is (x-y) = 2 and (x+y) = 5. From this, we obtain: 2x = 7 => x = 7/2, which is not an integer. Therefore, in any case we have reached to a contradiction.

Is there any positive integer solution of x^2 – y^2 = 10?

There are no such factors. contradiction. This is a very shallow proof by contradiction. How this influencer used $250 to break the private jet industry. She was able to accomplish all of this with just $250 to start! Let’s assume that there exist positive integer solution of the Diophantine equation x^2 – y^2 = 10.

What is the meaning of x2-y2=N?

Now, if possible suppose there exists an integer solution (r,s) of x²-y²=n then, we get, Definition :- Two integers x and y is said to be of same parity if either both are even or both are odd. Definition :- An integer n is said to be perpetual if |n|=2m for some odd natural number m.
