What is TA work in MTech?

TA Work: You will be assisting faculty of that particular subject in attendance and correction of answer sheets and some more works related to that course only for a semester. The number of hours in a week can vary depending on the prof you are working with.

What do M Tech students do?

Develop problem solving capability. Therefore, to strengthen the problem solving skills, MTech students should do many exciting projects (as part of courses or otherwise), participate in programming contests / hackathons, academic/engineering clubs, engineering or research competitions/challenges, etc.

Is MTech difficult?

It’s totally depends on university where you are going to persue. Some universities strictly want research paper published in free journal and some accept even paid papers. Free journal takes much time and effort. If any person have good research skills then mtech is not tough for them.

Which one is better MTech ta or MTech RA for teaching?

If you quickly want to go for a PhD then better go for M.Tech TA otherwise you will be benefited by M.Tech RA. A2A RA is research oriented. There are many institutes which prefer Mtech over MS for teaching. In NITs, MS program isn’t yet started and there are lesser research oriented subjects like Big data, CC etc.

The advantage of the regular 3-years MTech program is that the students can get better exposure to research under the particular program. The students may be paid a stipend at par (if not higher) with the 2-yr MTech students.
