What is the duration of IndiGo cadet pilot program?

The duration of the CPL training is planned at 19 months including conversion to the Indian CPL; the Airbus A320 type rating is planned at an additional 2 months. However, DGCA licensing, scheduling, and any other delays will extend the duration of the cadet program by an estimated 2 to 3 months.

What is cadet pilot?

A cadet pilot is basically a pilot in training – usually on a training course designed for a specific airline, known as the cadet programme, pilot cadetship scheme or simply cadet scheme. You can find these cadet programmes offered by all major flight schools or directly on an airline’s website.

How can I become a pilot of IndiGo cadet?

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the IndiGo Programme:

  1. Must be between 18 and 32 years of age.
  2. Have a valid passport and the unrestricted right to live and work in India, with the ability to travel unrestricted worldwide.
  3. Fluent in English (verbal and written)

How can I become an IndiGo pilot?

Must have current COP/RTR, FRTO, Class 1 Medical, and an accident / incident-free record at the time of application.

  1. Criteria. Maximum Age: 37yrs, 40 yrs (for pilots > 1000 hrs flying time; Indian National with Indian DGCA issued CPL with ATR 72 endorsement.
  2. Course required to be completed. CPL.
  3. Hours required.

What is CASS mark?

Continuous assessment (CASS) carries a 25\% weight in the final matriculation (Grade 12) mark and, more importantly, provides feedback on performance that affects examination preparation and effort.
