What is the working time in PSU?

12. Working Hours/ Leave: Working hours shall normally be from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM during working days including half an hour lunch break from 1.00 pm to 1.30 pm.

How many working days does Iocl have?

IOCL and ONGC both have 6 days a week working.

Is PSU job safe?

The salary may vary in different PSUs but it is comparable to or more than that being paid in the private sector along with job security which the private sector can never guarantee. Thus the PSU makes sure that you get all that you deserve after the months of hard work you have put in to reach this level.

Productive and Fun Workplace It was a great experience while working with Indian Oil Corporation Limited(IOCL). I was a intern in IOCL but working with this company was the best opportunity I get. Overall, I just simply say that the IOCL time is the best time of my carrer.

Most of Drilling, Production, Geologist, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical and Chemist people in their initial years, if posted in one of the ONGC assets, have to work in on-off duty pattern which is generally a 14 days on, 14 days off.

How many days a week do Geologists work at ONGC?

( If you are a Geologist, you can be given jobs in Labs, Interpretation work stations, or maybe you can be given some project ONGC is working on.) Ex (Availability of the job): Almost everywhere… 14 days on/off: 14 days work at the drill site (onshore/offshore) and 14 days off. (You get food free of cost.

General working hours will be 8–430 or 9–6 jobs. But being recruited as Executives, one should work little more. In ONGC it depends were you are posted .In office its 8 hrs and in fields its like 12 hrs for 14 days then 14 days off or else 12 hrs in 2 days rotation In BHEL, different units/ offices have different working hours.

What is it like to work at ONGC as an engineer?

Arpit Puri in his answer has rightly mentioned that work is little harsh and sometime you don’t even feel like an officer but it is not same for all 14 days of your duty. T Being a cementing engineer in ONGC where I have to work both in office and in field, I think I can make you familiarize with the life of an ONGC employee.
