Where did the fish go during the flood?

But where do the fish go? They mostly hunker down in rock crevices and slack water or they get washed downstream, but they also have an opportunity to benefit from the bounty of floodwaters. Picture an average rainy spring day.

Our Heavenly Father never mentioned anything about bringing plants, fish or other marine creatures on the Ark. It stands to reason then, God only instructed Noah to bring the animals on the Ark that were going to be impacted by the Flood.

The flood of water would drown them. Logically, animals that live in the water would not be affected by more water. Land animals and birds were selected to board the ark, but fish and sea creatures were not (Genesis 6:19-21; 7:2-4). This would seem to indicate that sea creatures did not need the ark in order to survive.
