Will Eren be killed by Mikasa?

At the end of Chapter 138, Mikasa was about to kill Eren. A flurry of events that had been occurring in the last few chapters and episodes suggested that Eren had taken a turn into the dark side. Hence, unless there are plot twits at play, it looks like Eren Yaegar is indeed dead.

What happens to Eren and Mikasa at the end?

Mikasa Ackerman ends up heartbroken, after delivering the killing stroke to Eren Jaeger in his Founding Titan form. After the battle, Mikasa keeps Eren’s severed head, eventually burying it under the tree she, Eren, and Armin used to race to as kids.
